We are mother and daughter, Gerty Hiemstra and Marieke van Veluw. When our first poodle came, Marieke was still very young. It was a white toy poodle; White Esther from the Seahorse. She was a very good dog, she gave birth to very nice children! Two of her children went to Indonesia; Gemarsandi's He Du Dolly and Gemarsandi's Kiss me Kate. At a show I saw a standard poodle, and I fell in love! Our first standard was The restless nest white Rebecca. A descendant  from the Terrabelle kennel; our royal house had also poodles from this kennel. Going to shows became an addiction. We got three import males; Vicmar's here is the Answer from England, Harbovi's Run for Fun from Sweden and Torbec full of Promises from Canada. They are father of many beautiful showdogs! Children went to Germany, Belgium, Switserland, the United States and Indonesia. After my divorce in 1994, most of our dogs went abroad. Chanel Toy of Mirror Home and her daughter Gemarsandi's Naughty but Nice stayed. We didn't show anymore. I had to work in our shop and Marieke studied. In 2002 Marieke finished her education. Nanja (Gemarsandi's Naughty but Nice) was 12 years old and Chanel died a couple of years earlier. We were looking for a new poodle.

Bacardi Beach Boy came into our lives. We weren't planning to show again, but he was such a show male, we decided to start again.
